- BEHAVIOURAL VISION

A Behavioural Assessment will be in two parts –

  • Functional Vision: where your Eyesight, Eye Health and Visual Efficiency skills are tested
  • Visual Processing: where your ability to use both Visual and Cognitive Skills together is weighed.

Functional Vision Assessment will therefore consider the following

Clarity of Eyesight & Focussing Skills

Convergence (Eye Teaming) Skills

Normal Eye Movement Skills

Poor Eye Movement Skills

Visual Efficiency Testing can reveal difficulties such as: controlling or sustaining Focus, co-ordinating the two eyes as a Team, or Tracking words across a page.

- BEHAVIOURAL VISION

Visual Processing Assessments then can assess the areas of Understanding Visual Information. Even a child with 20/20 eyesight can have a vision issue at the core of any learning problem.
