As an independent optometrist, we are free to prescribe the best optical lens for you and are not limited like the large corporate retailers (who are often aligned with only one brand of lens).

As Behavioural Optometrists, we will take into account many factors in determining the final makeup of your Glasses-

  • knowing your Visual System thoroughly, both what will work effectively in lenses and what will not
  • the size, shape and alignment of a given frame, and how that will work with a chosen lens
  • the material and features that will give you the best performing product, to ensure you end up with a pair of glasses that will provide excellent vision and require little/low maintenance.

As well as having the best Technology available for our Clinical Tests, we have invested in the highest tech for Dispensing too –

Zeiss Visufit

Nine Cameras are positioned around the Arc of the Instrument to create 35 million reference points, as to the exact position of your chosen Frame on your Face. The point where your eyes sit behind the Frame, the angle of the Frame on your head, how high or low it sits on your Nose: these are all taken into account when setting the optical lens position for the best fit for you & your prescription.

Lens Options

There have never been more choices with how your glasses can be made: Anti-Reflection Coatings, Polarised Lenses, Light-sensitive Lenses that react to UV rays to darken outdoors, Hi-Index Materials to give lighter, thinner, more comfortable lenses and Coatings that enable easier Lens cleaning & Anti-Fog.

We preference Zeiss lenses, so we can offer you all the most advanced qualities, including built-in UV protection (up to 400nm), which is better protection than any other Lens offered by competitor brands.

Transition Lenses change their color when exposed to more UV light

Denser materials give the option of thinner lenses, while still maintaining excellent Optical Quality

We promise to guide you through the Frame Consultation process to ensure you choose something that suits your Personality, your Prescription and your Budget, whether it be for an Optical Frame or Sunglasses.

- Frames & Lenses

Warranties

We provide a full 2 year frame warranty, and comprehensive back-up on your prescription and lenses, assuming we make your complete glasses. Our Warranties also cover repairing and / or servicing your Frame for life. To this end, we strongly recommend you should have your eyes tested wherever you have your glasses made, to ensure you have the advantage of full warranty back-up. Should you choose to have your glasses made elsewhere, we recommend you have all your eyecare provided there also.

For your Peace-of-Mind, any Kid’s Optical Frame we dispense, comes with

an Unconditional* 2 Year Warranty

*in addition to Manufacturers Warranty, for one extra full replacement per year.

We have Lens Wipes, Sprays, Anti-Fog Kits and accessories all in stock at the Practice to help you maintain your glasses to the highest standard. We will also adjust your glasses at no charge and can replace nose-pads or screws any time you care to come in.
